Day 1: Quito - Cotopaxi National Park - Riobamba - Hotel Accommodation

rive on a third order road through a Pine forest to Limpiopungo Lake located 3,800 meters above sea level along the slopes of the magnificent Cotopaxi Volcano.In the afternoon drive to Riobamba, visit the city. Overnight. In the afternoon drive to Riobamba. Overnight.

Day 2: Riobamba - Chimorazo or Devils Nose Train - Ingapirca - Cuenca - Hotel Accommodation

After breakfast drive to Chimborazo Reserve where you will enjoy a nice trip passing through rural areas. At the Chimborazo Reserve you can see Llamas and Vicuñas on the road. Drive up to 4,800 meters above sea level and hike up to the Refuge at 5,000 meters or just take your time to enjoy the impressive landscape at this altitude. (If available it is also possible to enjoy a train ride at the well known Devil's Nose) Later on drive to Ingapirca Ruins where a walk through this place will take you back to the past and you'll feel as though you belonged to this culture. In the afternoon drive to Cuenca. Overnight.

Day 3: Cuenca City Tour - Vilcabamba - Hotel Accommodation

After breakfast enjoy a tour of this magnificent city declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage of Mankind. After lunch drive to Loja located in the south of Ecuador. In the afternoon take a short city tour and visit the famous parks. Drive to Vilcabamba and overnight.

Day 4: Sacred Valley - Hotel Accommodation

After breakfast visit Vilcabamba. This nice valley is well known as the Longevity Valley, as people live longer than anywhere else in the world. Nobody knows the exact reason, but many theories exist. We will spend the whole day in this Sacred Valley, while enjoying its beautiful landscapes. Overnight.

Day 5: Mandango Mountain - Airport

After breakfast, hike to el Mandango Mountain. You will be intrigued by its beautiful landscapes and diversity. In the afternoon drive to La Toma where you will catch your flight back to Quito (or Guayaquil).
