Day 1: Cuenca – Transfer In – Hotel Accommodation
Laguna-La-Toreadora-Parque-Nacional-El-ajasArrive in Cuenca. A bilingual guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. He will be able to assist you in anything you may need. Accommodation at the Selected Hotel.

Day 2: Cuenca – City Tour – Hotel Accommodation
Breakfast and city tour of the city of Cuenca visiting the Calderon Park, new and old Cathedral The park of the Flowers, the City Museum and modern art, the Cañari-Incas of all saints ruins, Canon of the Tomebamba and Turi River. We will also visit a Panama Hat Museum and Store where you can learn the history and see different types and color of this famous hat. Free afternoon and accommodation at the Selected Hotel.

Day 3: Devil's Nose & Ingapirca Fortress – Hotel Accomodation

Early in the morning we will drive north to take the famous Devil's Nose Train Ride, that is a portion of the Ecuadorian railway accessible from Alausi, where we will descend the mountain in zig-zag. In the afternoon we will visit the Ingapirca Fortress in the Cañar Province, one of the most important Incan Complex in Ecuador. This fortress, located at 3,160 meters, was built between the XV and XVI centuries (before Spaniards arrival in Ecuador) and was known as an administrative and religious center of the Inca's Empire.

This complex was built over the ruins of a Cañari settlement, an important native culture of southern Ecuador, so it is also possible to find ruins of this culture. Upon arrival, we will visit the Museum, which shows an interesting display of stone, jewelry and ceramic handicrafts. Afterwards visit the ruins, which include a roofless fortification, courtyards, terraces, and the famous Temple of the Sun. Back to cuenca and accommodation at the Selected Hotel.

Day 4: Cuenca – Transfer Out Breakfast.
